In the early hours of this morning, Snarky Puppy band leader, Michael League, posted on the group’s instagram, a photo of the entire ensemble in the recording studio in El Paso, Texas, where they recorded their next upcoming studio album.

The caption of the photo reveals the album title, Culcha Vulcha, that the record will have 12 tracks of new instrumental music, and that the album will be released in around two months. There is no official release date yet, but information that the album will arrive sometime in April, is good enough for me to stoke the fires of the proverbial hype train.
